A Sense of Relief

I guess this happened when I was about 9. I had just woken up, it was 1 or 2 in the morning and I'd had a really bad nightmare. Everyone else was asleep. I just sat up in bed ...then I saw a pale white figure standing in the hall. She was tall, 5'8 maybe, with clothes from the 1920's-30', and was in her late20's. She was just standing there, I guess I had been really scared. She just smiled. I could tell she wasn’t there to hurt me. A few minutes later she started to walk away, and as she did so she started to fade away then she was gone .I felt a sense of relief, and I never saw her again...
