Monster Under the Bed

Well, it started when my nephew spent the night at our old house. We were in my room where my step dad slept, and my nephew was standing on the bed. I don't really believe in monsters under the bed but in this case, I'll accept the myth. He was on the bed and I was in the doorway, I happened to look down and I saw a black shelled finger come up and signal me to go over there. I did, but only to grab my nephew and run. After that I never entered the room again.
